The Laramie area simply has an overabundance of childcare capacity. This reality is the reason why Kids Connection is forced to cease operations as of August 31, 2012. The childcare business is not a route to riches, but rather it’s a labor of love and a responsibility we took on because of our love of children and desire to help them grow and mature in a safe, nurturing environment.

Unfortunately, love isn’t enough without adequate resources to pay for staff, electricity, natural gas, food, mortgage, insurance, gasoline, supplies and all of the other necessities necessary to operate a business. We cannot adequately express our sadness at the closing, since it has truly been such a privilege to work with the children and families who been an integral part of our lives. It’s heartbreaking to leave this all behind, but reality being what it is, there’s no other option.

We’d like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the families, our wonderful staff and everybody else in the community who has supported us over the years.
